Classes

At Pacific Rim, we offer classes in five distinct, but complementary martial arts:

Hapkido – Employing a broad variety of integrated techniques, it is the most complete self-defense form. It is the leading non-sport martial art in Korea.

Aikido – The Japanese form of non-violent self-defense. Aikido training focuses on the creation of harmony and brotherhood. To study Aikido is a creative journey of personal growth.

Jujutsu – Instrumental in the development of Judo, Sosuishiryu Jujutsu’s locks, throws, weapon usage, and other techniques have been developed over a span of nearly 350 years.

Judo – Primarily a throwing and grabbing art, it has been an Olympic sport since 1964. Students have the option to participate in tournaments; however, the training emphasizes the heritage and foundation Judo has provided to all martial arts.

Tae Kwon Do – An Olympic Sport and the most practiced martial art in the world.  At Pacific Rim, the pure form of Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do is taught with the quality of the student in mind, not merely for sport or physical activity.

Pacific Rim Martial Arts Academy programs feature the quality of instruction that the community has come to expect.
